Dr. Jim Logan from Space Medicine Associates responded the following when talking about sex in space:
"We had done a lot of work trying to do CPR in space, and when you think about it, CPR is a similar kind of complex act between two people.
We evolved this big system where you would do CPR, we put a lot of thought into this system...
You know what the astronauts decided early on when they evaluated the system?
They decided it was too cumbersome and that they could do it all with duct tape.
I'm not saying that duct tape is a sexual aid in space, I'm just saying duct tape is like the Force, it has a light side and dark side, and it binds the universe together."
